It’s important to remember: “love” doesn’t apply to just romantic/sexual love. Many children grow up with a long-term, terrifying, chilling lack of love, in an environment of constant abuse…be it mental, physical, sexual, and/or spiritual.

But yes, this poem might resonate with some of you who’ve experienced a lack of ROMANTIC love, as well.

A lifetime without love…nothing could be colder. 🧊 💔 And if you’ve experienced a lack of love — in ANY form — know that I understand. I feel you, and I want you to know, yet again: you are enough, you have worth, and yes, you deserve love. Most of all, you deserve to love YOURSELF. ❤️‍🩹 #ISeeYou #YouAreEnough
