As usual, I’ve mixed the old and the new. And there’s rock, pop, shoegaze, jazz, rap, and Motown — many sounds to keep it varied and keep your mind open, because one shouldn’t get stuck in a rut or close their mind to things they aren’t used to. I even wanted to add classical and other types, but the list was already getting too long. 😢

Yes, you see Duran Duran on my list most years, because they’ve been my favorite band since I was 6 years old. And yes, they’re on my 2023 list. Also, the BEST news 🗞️ — Duran Duran was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 🏆 🎸 Freakin’ FINALLY.

Sounds like a plan. 👍🏼 💀 🧶 So much fantastic color in my yard and all around. 💫 The shadowy figure, out and about town. 📷 My daughter — she travels like a rock star. ⭐️ 😆 I caught this tiny bug sleeping inside a one-inch cucumber flower in my garden, and had to use a macro lens to capture the moment. So cute. 💤 A spot in my backyard, sunrise. 🌅 🌳 💚 I love the nighttime. Especially in the summer. I’m basically a vampire. 🧛♀️ A luna moth sighting!! It came right up to me. I always love to see one. 💚 Rare day off. Time to read some poetry and have a good 🍺. Dinner-ready. (I’m always ready to eat.) 🥘 🍝 🥖 🥧🍛🍰🍢🍚🥟🥗 😂 Moody, foggy shot. 🌫️ Cut all my hair off again, on a whim. Just chop-chop-chop. I love it. And I’m so glad I don’t have to listen to any losers anymore who say, “Don’t cut your hair!” or “Why’d you cut your hair?” 🙅🏻♀️ Like seriously, could you be any more boring or inappropriate? 🙄 Every time I get the suitcases out to start packing for a trip… 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛ 😆 CHICKENS. 🐓 The Lana…bouncing down neon purple hallways…✨ This is how hot it is lately. 103 degrees Fahrenheit. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP. 😭 🥵 Still, the summer evenings around here are a beauty to behold (if you can keep from having a heat stroke). 💛
