Welcome To Clown Town

By Jenn Howe

David Bowie couldn’t believe it either, but it’s true:

Coffee, poetry, AND cats — yes, the three finest things in life are now together in one place for you to enjoy, on my YouTube show.

The latest episode features a new poem called “The Lesson,” and you get to hear it paired with a short film of sorts, thus taking the focus off me and putting it back on the words.

Also, this time, I’m wearing full-on Regency period clothing.

If you aren’t subscribed to my YouTube, you can watch Episode 2 of “Coffee, Poetry, and Cats” by clicking the link below… ⬇️

I can’t even tell you how long it takes to make just ONE of these mini-shows. And I had to post it to YouTube THREE different times, because I had sound issues. Pure insanity. 😭 Jesus wept, and so did I. But the new episode is finally up. 🎉 May you enjoy the antics of Jenn, Muffin, and Pooky.

ESPECIALLY Pooky. 😂🤡

Random Photos and Moments

Busy times, busy times.

As usual, I try to snap photos of funny, sweet, beautiful, or even completely random moments from my life, then I place a few of them in each blog. I’d like to think that, if nothing else, this blog has become a lasting visual timeline of my life — not only for myself and YOU, cherished readers…but also for Lana, possible future grandkids, other relatives, and/or my lifetime friends…so they can look back and get a feel for who I was…especially when I’m gone one day.

Here are just a few more, for this blog…

A stunning full moon scene in the middle of the night. A magical sky! 🌝 ✨
Found on the streets — positive vibes only. 😳 #graffiti
Playing with shadows and light inside my house. 📿
Lovely outdoor setting for a nighttime meal. 🍽️ 💡
Celebrating life with great people. 🍹 #cheers
Don’t litter. 🫀
Bonita. 🌹
Stuck in a tank. 🙁 I wish I could free them all. 😭
Still life: sliced pears on city sidewalk. 🍐
Valentine’s Day, 2023. I treated myself right. 👏🏼 🎞️ 📷 💕
First signs of spring. 🌱🌺
BLOOMING. 💛 I appreciate the flowers in my yard so much. 💫 💐
Getting dressed to make the new YouTube video. I love the shirt styles of the early 1800’s.
CAN YOU BELIEVE? Our county in Arkansas finally voted to be a “wet” county. 🍻 Yes, it was illegal to buy alcohol here until THIS year, 2023. Madness. I saw this display in a local grocery store, and I almost fainted. It’s such an unfamiliar sight! 😂 So…while the U.S. and Arkansas governments continue to attack my OTHER basic rights…at least now I can drown my sorrows about that in alcohol, I guess?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ #help
Look! I finally met a horse that is MY size! 😂
I mean LOOK. 😍
💕
More word on the streets. #graffiti 🛸
Tree and sunset, reflected in rain puddles. 🌅 💧
Perfect mornings. ☺️ 🎞️ 📷 ☕️
A 🍀 cake-pop for St. Patrick’s Day. 💚 And if you’re wondering, “Is Jenn still finding tons of four leaf clovers on a regular basis?”…the answer is — absolutely. The totals for just the past four weeks are:
21 four-leaf clovers, 8 five-leaf clovers, and 1 six-leaf clover.
#CloverQueen

I hope some of you can enjoy the videos I’m taking so much time to make and share. They’re meant to be silly and fun, while maybe inspiring a few people out there to read and/or write poetry. Poetry really CAN be for everyone.

I also have a much bigger thing in the works, but I’ll share more on that in the months to come.

May you all have an exceptionally colorful and happy spring! 🐣 🐰 🌷 And thank you for reading. ☺️

Until next time,

Love…from Jenn, your poetry mom.
