Before I get to the beats, I’ll address the current “comments section situation”….
1). Yes, comments are currently disabled. 2). Why? Firstly, because it’s my my blog/my prerogative, and second, some people just don’t know how to act on social media, so I’ve done it for my peace of mind. 3). The only type of person who will be alarmed or upset by this is a mentally unhinged or emotionally unstable person…which most of you are NOT. I sadly used to deal with one of these egocentric weirdos on Instagram…he came absolutely UNGLUED when I turned off comments — as though his opinion of EVERY photo was absolutely necessary and earth-shattering. It’s not that deep, dude. 🙄 I dealt with WAY too many rude and overaggressive people on Facebook, as well. I sure don’t miss THAT site. 🤢 4). No, turning off comments is not a big deal. While thousands of people have read this blog, almost no one posts a comment, anyway — which is just fine. I don’t do this for attention or validation. I create and share things — for free — simply because I want to. But if anyone enjoys what I post (even without my knowing about it), that’s just bonus. ☺️
All of you who DO know how to act, don’t worry — I’ll probably turn comments back on soon…albeit with some very heavy filters.

While we haven’t reached the summer solstice, in America, we call Memorial Day “The Unofficial Start of Summer” — and goodness, is it HOT here! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It’s gonna reach 95 DEGREES today in Arkansas. AND I have no relief, as my air conditioning is broken until someone comes to fix it later. 🥵 So yeah…I say IT’S SUMMER.
