Rainbow-Sparkled Flurries In Our Eyes

By Jenn Howe

Hey, all!

Things have been super-busy and mega-nuts around here, lately…but I wanted to stop by for a moment to say:

1. Yes, I’m fine. GREAT, in fact…even amidst all the CrAzY. ๐Ÿ˜œ

2. I made a new little YouTube movie for anyone who wants to see a bit of the SNOWPOCALYPSE we recently endured here in Arkansas (and the surrounding southern states). I woke up one morning to a temperature of -2 degrees (BALLS!) and a blanket of snow covering everything. So gorgeous…but it wreaked a bit of havoc. My water pipes froze for almost a week — no showers, no toilet — and I’m not even gonna get into the embarrassing details of how I had to deal. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I finally ended up spending a couple of nights in a hotel because a hot shower became necessary, but I enjoyed it as a mini-vacay getaway.

But here’s a link to my new (very) short film, which I paired with a poem I wrote during the snowstorm. When life gives you lemons (or frozen pipes)…make lemonade (or ART)! โœ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ“„ ๐ŸŽฅโ„๏ธ

I’ll return soon with plenty of photos and who knows what-all nonsense, per usual. ๐Ÿ˜† In the meantime, stay safe and warm, my friends…

XO, Jenn…

BELOW — The link to my new poem-film, “Questions About Winter.” Featuring the lovely winter landscape around my house/neighborhood area (and below the link, I’ll include the full text of the poem, for those curious)…

Thanks, Ray! Thinking of everyone in Texas, too…HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people all over Arkansas and Texas without electricity or heat…Iโ€™m hoping you are well…

      Hello, Mr. Tharp…
Iโ€™m not sure what type of weather youโ€™ve endured in recent weeks, but itโ€™s good to know youโ€™re still here with us โ€” through the pandemic, the recent presidency, and this insane winter. Thanks for the hello… โ˜บ๏ธ
